Bloodshot's Small Batch Bourbon, by Few Spirits
Due to the myriad nuances of the American alcohol distribution system, we cannot sell this booze on our site. Due to the same reasons, we also don't know exactly when and where it will be available, but we do know these party stores and watering holes have it right now. It is largely sold out, but a few (no pun intended) bottles are floating around booze shops and pubs here and there. Be on the lookout!
We got in cahoots with local, independent distillery and revel-rousers Few Spirits (out of Evanston, IL) to create an exclusive small-batch bourbon in honor of our 21st - and legal drinking year - birthday. Bloodshot's Small Batch Bourbon is a blend curated by Few Spirits founder/master distiller Paul Hletko and the Bloodshot Records staff, with similar sweetness and spice as the award-winning Few Bourbon Whiskey but a more herbaceous quality. Only about 500 bottles will be available, distributed in select stores and bars in Chicago, as well as other national markets including Seattle, Nashville, New York City, and more to be announced. The bottles feature a Bloodshot-themed label and are hand-numbered.
Bloodshot's Small Batch Bourbon has a suggested retail price of $49.99.
About Few Spirits
Based in Evanston, Ill., a Chicago suburb that was once an international headquarters for the temperance movement, Few Spirits is a craft distillery making whiskies and gins from locally grown grains and other ingredients sourced as close to home as possible, including Cascade hops grown in master distiller Paul Hletko’s own backyard. Few Rye Whiskey was named Whisky Advocate’s Craft Whiskey of the Year in 2013, and its Bourbon Whiskey and Barrel Gin were both awarded gold medals by the Beverage Testing Institute.
