A couple days ago, and no more than 48 hours after returning stateside from their hefty Scandinavian tour, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers were performing at the Outlaw Fest in Charlotte, NC with his royal highness Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers, and Jamey Johnson. The story goes that Sarah was hanging out backstage when Willie's crew informed her that he wanted her to join him onstage for the end of his set. They whisked her onstage, and she sang "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die" with the Red Headed Stranger himself and country vocalist-in-demand Melonie Cannon. Here's some video for proof and posterity...

Sarah & co. will be on the road again (see what we did there?) next week starting with a Bloodshot double bill with Banditos at Basement East in Nashville, and then they'll come Midwestward to play FitzGerald's famous American Music Fest before starting the West Coast leg of the Years album release tour.
