Watch Robbie Fulks & Lori McKenna Perform at AmericanaFest's Pre-Grammy Tribute to Loretta Lynn

Here are some shiny gems from the big Grammy weekend. Grammy nominees Robbie Fulks and Lori McKenna played Loretta Lynn & Conway Twitty's classic "You're the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly" (with improvised insults at the end - one of them rhymes with "election") at the Americana Music Association Pre-Grammy Tribute to Loretta Lynn at the historic Troubadour. As you can imagine, they brought the house down. They're joined by our pal Robbie Crowell (who played on the Bloodshot Six Pack to Go and the upcoming Cory Branan album ADIOS) on keys and Steelism (featuring former Deadstring Brothers steel player Spencer Cullom).

Robbie also performed Lynn's once-controversial classic "The Pill," with a worthy introduction of praise. "She kicked ass in every key."
