The nominees for the 59th Grammy Awards were announced this morning. While we've known it all along, The Grammys have gotten on the Fulks train. We are proud and delighted to announce that Robbie Fulks is nominated for two 2017 Grammy Awards! The 2016 Bloodshot album Upland Stories is nominated for Best Folk Album. "Alabama at Night," from the album, is nominated for Best American Roots Song. These are the first nominations for Fulks, and first for an artist on the record label.

Both nominations are for music of Fulks’s latest album Upland Stories, which received critical acclaim from a varied and widespread list of publications, including Rolling Stone Country (“With his new album Upland Stories, Robbie Fulks furthers his reputation as one of the most observant and wry songwriters of the past two decades”), NPR Fresh Air, NPR Music, New Yorker, The Guardian, Noisey, The FADER, Acoustic Guitar Magazine and many more.

It’s absolutely wonderful to see such a hardworking and supremely talented artist be recognized. We have been fortunate to work with Robbie for the last couple of decades. Picturing him all spiffied up in a penguin suit at the awards show is putting a mischievous but elated grin on our faces.

The Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 12.

Get on the train! Upland Stories is out on CD, vinyl LP, and digital. (Use code RFWINS for 25% off!)
