Here's a creative and outstanding read about the history of Bloodshot Records, as told by our co-fearless-leaders Rob & Nan, longtime fan and writer Raphael Maurice, Robbie Fulks, and Brian Roberts of Ha Ha Tonka, published by The Bluegrass Situation. Give it a read here while you wait for the punch clock to expire so you can get to the bar.

"For many of us, Bloodshot is ranked in our minds with SST, Twin Tone, Discord … you get the idea. Husker Du, The Replacements, and Minor Threat were bands we felt spoke to us since grade school. Bloodshot seems to have taken these holy reins and ridden the musical horses back out to the fields. The thread that ties these older punk labels and bands to Bloodshot seems as natural as sunrise and sunset. We were always waiting for a go-to label such as Bloodshot to continue what began with Neil Young and on to Uncle Tupelo."
