Cordero back on the road; Collaborating with Os Mutantes

CORDERO, Brooklyn's favorite bilingual indie rock dance band, will appear on a US midwestern tour beginning October 3rd with a free concert at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk beginning at 8:30pm--featuring two sets of Cordero, and an ongoing Obama presidential debate drinking game. Cordero will be debuting songs from an upcoming collaboration album with Os Mutantes leader Sergio Dias, the beloved 1960's psychedelic rock icon, which re-imagines the great classic protest songs and love songs of Latin American history.

Ani Cordero has the new honor of playing drums for the legendary band Os Mutantes, "The Brazilian Beatles," appearing as their drummer, on a to-be-announced tour.

Cordero will be touring with a new more complex musical line-up this fall, which features accordion from Will Holhouser of Antony and the Johnsons, Omar Akil Little of Lee "Scratch" Perry's band, and others.
