What is the Interview Show?
Held the first Friday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., we have three to four interview guests, from all walks of life who are passionate about their work. Interviews range from 15 to 20 minutes. The interviews are broken up by performances, from either interview guests or others. The show aims for interviews that, while still entertaining, are hopefully a bit more substantive that you might see on most TV talk shows. Essentially, I'm trying to imitate the old Dick Cavett Show. We also videotape the show and post the interviews at The Huffington Post and anywhere else we can place them. Some of the guests we've had on the show have been: chef Rick Bayless, filmmaker Steve Conrad (The Promotion,The Weather Man); improv greats TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi, Robbie Fulks, labor activist Thomas Geoghegan, Malian musician Vieux Farka Toure, "Top Chef" winner Stephanie Izard, Rhymefest and filmmaker Joe Swanberg.
