STEREOGUM PREMIERES NEW LYDIA LOVELESS SONG "REALLY WANNA SEE YOU"

Stereogum gives you a stream and download of another new Lydia Loveless song from her upcoming album 'Somewhere Else,' out February 18th. The song is called "Really Wanna See You Again," and it's a bona fide ripper.

Listen and download here.

According to our friends at Stereogum, it's "an example of a singer-songwriter in full control of her craft and a rock ’n’ roll band at the peak of its powers."

Sounds about right. For the entire album.

Pre-order it here.

LYDIA LOVELESS PREMIERES NEW SONG "HEAD" ON ELLE.COM

ELLE has an exclusive stream of Lydia Loveless's new song "Head" (yes, if that's what you're thinking) from her upcoming album 'Somewhere Else' (out 2/18).

Listen here.

“We thought it would be really funny to write a song about oral sex," says Lydia. The thought is funny indeed, but this song is devastatingly sad, the saddest song we've heard on the topic. But damn, is it a moody scorcher. And it features Lydia's first guitar solo on record! She shreds and slays as we'd expect.

LYDIA LOVELESS TALKS ABOUT FORTHCOMING ALBUM, BRASH LYRICISM, AND HER TENDENCY TO KICK YOUR ASS IN SPIN MAGAZINE

Lydia Loveless is on the front page of SPIN talking about trading banjos and fiddles for fuzzy layers of punk guitars on her forthcoming album 'Somewhere Else,' the album she wrote and scrapped prior to this one, almost losing her mind in 2013, and the minimal likelihood that she'll kick your ass...physically, that is.

It's a hell of an interview ahead of a hell of an album. Read it here.

Pre-order the album.

ROBBIE FULKS PERFORMS AND CHATS ON PBS WTTW'S 'CHICAGO TONIGHT'

ast night Robbie Fulks was the musical guest on PBS WTTW's 'Chicago Tonight.' Robbie participated in an interview and performed songs from his 2013 Bloodshot album 'Gone Away Backward.'

You can watch it all here.

That Robbie's a charmer, eh? And a hell of a picker at that.

BARRENCE WHITFIELD AND THE SAVAGES PERFORM "HANGMAN'S TOKEN" AT BLOODSHOT HEADQUARTERS

From their 2013 Bloodshot album 'Dig Thy Savage Soul.'

Back in November those legendary Boston garage barons stopped by our humble abode to grace us with their formidable presence and play us a couple songs. What resulted was one of the most memorable work days we've ever had here. Barrence (for reasons unknown) decided to don an Abe Lincoln top hat found in Radio Man Swank's quarters, then picked up a century-old medical book from Bloodshot Rob's office, and treated his performance (through a harmonica microphone) as a 19th century plea for mercy (or a really twisted State of the Union address). Meanwhile, the Savages absolutely shred it up and had us thinking the walls were caving in.

Not seen in the video: Lydia Loveless and her band rehearsing in the basement while all of this is going on in the front room. Needless to say, we didn't get much real "work" done that day.
