THE BOTTLE ROCKETS TO JOIN STEVE EARLE ON SIRIUSXM OUTLAW COUNTRY

The Bottle Rockets will join Steve Earle on his SiriusXM Radio show 'Hardcore Troubadour!' 

Catch the collaboration between two legendary acts on SiriusXM Outlaw Country, Channel 60. The first broadcast will be tonight at 9PM ET; then it will re-air tomorrow at 9AM, Monday at 1AM, Tuesday at Midnight, and Wednesday 2/19 9PM. If you're a subscriber, you can also listen on demand at sirusxm.com or on the SXM mobile app.

This should be one for the books.

BOBBY BARE JR. AND JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE TO STAR IN NEW 'HEARTWORN HIGHWAYS' SEQUEL

The 1976 outlaw country/americana documentary Heartworn Highways is getting a sequel this year, and our own Bobby Bare, Jr. and Justin Townes Earle will be included in the cast alongside Deer Tick, Langhorne Slim, Jonny Fritz, Shovels and Rope, and returning veterans David Allen Coe, Guy Clark, and Steve Young. The new film, 'Heartworn Highways Revisited,' is produced by the original film's Graham Leader.

Lydia sez: "I was trying to reinterpret a Verlaine poem, for way too long, then I got mad and started yelling stuff. Because I was drinking wine, I played a C chord wrong, resulting in a really cool thing happening at about 2:35. Jay played a really cool steel part. Bam."

CMT Edge interviewed Hard Working Americans (feat. Todd Snider, Dave Schools of Widespread Panic, and Neal Casal) about their new album, which features a spot-on cover of The Bottle Rockets' classic "Welfare Music."
