UPDATED MARCH 13, 2020: ALWAYS check with the venue for an up to date status of every show.  As we all struggle to stay on top of the quickly changing landscape, do not assume that our website reflects the current situation

Many states and municpalities have canceled all public gatherings, or those under 250 or 500 people for the foreseeable future. This affects countless shows in our itineraries. Please keep an eye on the news and messaging from venues.

In light of festival cancellations/postponements and precautions being taken in the live music space around the coronavirus, this page is intended to keep you updated on changes in Bloodshot artists' schedules, happenings, etc. We will try to stay as up to date as possible. However, we cannot emphasize enough that this is a fast-moving and unprecedented occurrence, so anything we are telling you now could be meaningless in a week. Or in a day. Or in two hours.

If you have specific concerns or questions about safety in these venues, please direct them to the venues themselves. Many of our favorite venues have already addressed this.

That said, if you are attending any shows or events, we urge you to stay up to date on the CDC's messaging on COVID-19 symptoms, at-risk characteristics, public gatherings, personal hygiene, and social distancing. We know you love live music, and it's something that helps us all escape the frequent stresses of everyday life in these often trying times, but we implore anyone who feels ill whatsoever to stay home, for the sake of your health and the health of those most vulnerable.

These cancelations and changes will have a notable adverse impact on independent touring musicians. If you want to help, the best way is to buy their music, merch, etc. And directly from their websites if possible. Every bit helps.

Any intelligent discussion of the issue (so, you know, NOT the president’s twitter feed….) emphasizes the need to avoid gatherings and think of the larger issue by considering a level of self-isolation and limiting travel. With the increasing cancellations of large gatherings throughout the country, we have decided not to send any staff to Austin, and therefore, will not be running the Bloodshot events as they usually run. Additionally, the Waco Brothers, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, The Yawpers, Jason Hawk Harris, Banditos, and Zach Schmidt have canceled their appearances altogether.

However, the venues that had intended to host our day party, ABGB Brewery, are intending to stay open and host our artists who had already routed to Austin (which is now down to 2 or 3 bands). If you intend to check out these shows, should they happen, reference the venue's websites and social media, or call them for updates. We'll try our best to keep you updated here.

Sarah Shook & the Disarmers + The Yawpers tour

Due to the tornado in Nashville (the hits just keep on comin', huh?), the Nashville stop on this tour has been canceled altogether. We wish our friends at Basement East all the best as they rebuild their great venue.

While the Yawpers will go forward with all dates, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers have canceled or postponed their appearances leading up to SXSW. The bands will perform together in Greenville, SC this Friday.

The Disarmers' West Coast tour has been postponed to the summer. Tickets will be honored at rescheduled shows. Keep an eye on their social media for the most up-to-date info.

Murder By Death 20th Anniversary Tour

March dates have been postponed. Tickets will be honored at rescheduled shows to be announced.

ROOKIE album release tour

The remainder of ROOKIE's run with Twin Peaks has been postponed, in addition to their headlining March dates, and their appearance at Treefort Music Fest in Boise, ID has been postponed from March 25-29 to September 23-27. Keep up with the news on the festival's social media and website.

ROOKIE's release show at Empty Bottle in Chicago has been postponed. Two shows are scheduled for 4/10 and 4/11.

The band's April/May tour with Brendan Benson is still on as of now, but could change based on recommendations for public gatherings from authorities smarter than us.

Freakwater house show tour

All dates canceled. Undertow Touring will be issuing full refunds to all ticket holders.
