RIP Ralph Stanley, Bluegrass Legend and Friend of Bloodshot

Late last night I felt and heard a faint, lonesome sound. It was as if a giant tree had fallen in faraway woods. I wake up this morning to find Ralph Stanley had died.

RIP Candye Kane

It’s with heavy hearts we bring the news of a passing in the extended Bloodshot family. Candye Kane, who contributed a track to our 2004 tribute to Wanda Jackson, Hard-Headed Woman, died on Friday, May 6th in San Diego after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
