Check out THIS long form interview in Guitar World Magazine with our own Maggie Bjorklund. She talks at length about her gear, her songwriting process, how and why a DANISH person came to play the AMERICAN pedal steel, and her recent stint with Jack White.
There's also an embedded video of a song from her release Coming Home.
In anticipation of the new Firewater album International Orange (Sept release) and the first US tour since 2008, we're re-releasing 4 classic Firewater titles.
On June 19th, you can complete, re-invigorate or get up to speed with your Firewater collection so's you can singalong when they bust out the hits. These albums have been sadly out of print for several years due to the vicissitudes and vagaries of the music biz. We'll be offering them up at a very nice price. Pick up one, or pick up four:

Nero/Pseudo: A Synopsis
A naked fake emperor. Glam rock. A head in a box. That's Nero/Pseudo -- a new play by Richard Byrne.
Nero/Pseudo takes its inspiration from a passage in Tacitus' Histories, in which a man with an uncanny physical resemblance to the emperor Nero (and skill in playing the lyre) took Greece by storm a few months after the real Nero's suicide in 69 AD. Not only did the fake Nero cause mass tumult before he was captured and executed -- but the notion that Nero might actually return to rule again was fuel for apocalyptic writers in Jewish and Christian sects of that era (including The Book of Revelation).
But Nero/Pseudo isn't a period piece. Byrne mashes up classical literature with glam rock, political cults of celebrity, a healthy dollop of sex and a newly-imagined version of Nero's famous poem on the Fall of Troy. All but three lines of the original Nero poem have been lost, so the playwright's new version casts as much an eye on contemporary politics as it does on Trojans and Greeks.

On Record Store Day April 2012, we released two singles---by Lydia Loveless and Justin Townes Earle--- exclusively for independent retailers. Well, they disappeared super fast, but we've got about 100 or so of each we can now offer to you directly.
And so we will, but act fast...cuz after this, they be gone gone gone.
Then you'll have to shell out $40 to buy one on eBay from some dude who bought them all up that morning...
To cleverly lure you into record stores and to the shows (being the geniuses at marketing that we are), we've partnered up with hip indie retailers along the tour route to offer you sale pricing, freebies, giveaways, and tickets.
Check HERE for all the skinny. Save money! Spend money! See a double bill that'll melt your socks (ouch!)!
