SXSW 2013 Happenings!

SXSW pster

It's that time again:  South by Southwest, Austin TX, March, music, margaritas, corporate sleaze fests trying to out "indie" each other, zombie-like mobs of insensate spring breakers bumping into clutches of jaded industry insiders, "bloggers" sitting on every curb trying to be the first to talk smack about THE NEXT BIG THING and a thousand broken dreams littering 6th Street.  And lots of litter littering 6th Street.

As Mitch Hedberg used to say, handing out fliers on the street is like saying "here, throw this out for me."

Once again, Bloodshot heads down south, shedding layers of flannel along the way and stopping at every plywood sign with the letters B B and Q on them, to bring you parties and showcases and music for your unadulterated enjoyment.

This list will be constantly updated as more parties, appearances times and venue details are confirmed.

Eddie Spaghetti Hates The French!

Well, not really, but that's the kind of headline that garners attention in this internet age.  We were also considering "Eddie Knocks Up Kate Middleton" but, really, who cares?

Anyway, Eddie is doing some solo shows out West this week, and the LA Examiner interviewed him about performing solo and how the Supersuckers ended up in Seattle.  He also does, in fact, rib the French a bit for the "encore" and their dislike of rock and roll.

Read it all HERE.

And keep in mind, Eddie's most recent solo album Sundowner is on sale for the rest of the month for only $9.99!
