On the heels of the release of their Bloodshot debut, Want More, post-soul evangelists JC Brooks And The Uptown Sound virtually took over the Chicago airwaves today with morning appearances on Chicago Public Radio's "848" and ABC 7's "Windy City Live." During their two-night stand in Chicago last month, Ha Ha Tonka filmed an acoustic version of "Pendergast Machine" from their album, Novel Sounds of The Nouveau South. Well, rather than hit the stage, the guys decided to hit the showers—the showers at Reggie's Rock Club, to be exact.
