Bloodshot Records is proud to announce a collaboration with the acclaimed Old Town School of Folk Music and their newly formed recording arm Old Town School Recordings. (Old Town School of Folk Music Songbook: Vol 1 available October 24!) A Chicago mainstay, the Old Town School of Folk Music has been around since 1957, offering classes and live performances from some of the world’s most respected musicians. Diligent in their commitment to representing all that Chicago has to offer, Old Town fosters an environment of learning and community.

In the coming years, we will be releasing recordings made at the School over the last half century featuring many of the giants in the fields of bluegrass, folk, world, blues and country music. In addition, we are releasing the recordings of the Wiggleworms program--the School's highly acclaimed early childhood music program.
