"This is perfect Parker - a party in a (jewel) box!"

"We were in our usual rocket launch mode, hammering through the set as if our lives depended upon it, roaring along at a dangerous clip, continually teetering on the edge of disaster at a frenetic yet musical pace.  Wish you were there.  I'm very glad I was." — Graham Parker

Graham Parker and the Rumour were at the top of their game when this show was recorded in San Francisco in 1979.  Released by Renaissancce Records and ItsAboutMusic.com in 2009, GP and the Rumour drew heavily from Van Morrison and the Rolling Stones, developing a sinewy fusion of driving rock & roll and confessional folk-rock, highlighted by his indignant passion, biting sarcasm, and bristling anger.
