With this 7" Rex and the Boys put their brand on two classic country heartbreakers. The first is Freddy Fender's "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights." Who better than our favorite kings of pain to recast this little ditty about getting tossed out like the trash but still hanging on to the love? Worth it for the killer steel guitar solo alone.
On the B side, Rex's cover of Poison's "Every Rose has its Thorn" helps explain why all those metal guys went through a chaps and hat phase.
