Bloodshot Records' Quinceañera!

Long ago, in another century, when everyone was running around in designer flannel or doing the Macarena or parroting the idiot drawl of "life is like a box of chocolates" or some stupid shit, some music geeks got together and thought, with a heady mixture of boredom, naivete and hubris, "Let's start a label!"

When we first started, no one would let our bands play at their festivals, so we went at it guerrilla-style, and put on afternoon events with no admission, free beer and a day's worth of music at out of way, off-beat venues in Chicago, New York and Austin. They seemed to have caught on, as our annual parties at the SXSW and CMJ conferences are not-to-be-missed celebrations of what we love about music.

Our buddies at Rolling Rock, flushed with giddiness after stopping by our Yard Dog Gallery Party at SXSW in Austin, mused, for our 15th anniversary and their 70th anniversary, why not take this vibe nationwide?

So here we go, we're bringing the spirit of those sunny afternoons in Texas to all points of the USA this summer and fall. At every show, there will be food, beer, good friends, old friends, new friends, special releases, limited edition merchandise, and music, lots of music -- and each city will have a different line up!
